Την ίδια στιγμή άλλο άτομο,οπαδός πάλι του ΟΦΗ, κινήθηκε προς τη μία εστία πίσω από την οποία είχε αναρτηθεί πανό του Α.Ο. Χανιά. Η αστυνομία τον απότρεψε και επιχείρησε να τον συλλάβει, η ένταση πήγε να λάβει μεγάλες διαστάσεις με αρκετούς οπαδούς του ΟΦΗ να εισβάλουν στον αγωνστικό χώρο.
Τελικά ο οπαδός δεν συννελήφθη και οι φίλοι των φιλοξενούμενων επέστρεψαν σιά-σιγά πίσω στις εξέδρες.Η ένταση πάντως δεν κόπασε.Οι οπαδοί και των δύο ομάδων έμειναν στις θέσεις τους στις κερκίδες, δείχνοντας πολύ εκνευρισμένοι, ο δε πρόεδρος της ΠΑΕ Α.Ο. Χανιά/Κισσαμικός, Αντώνης Ροκάκης συνοδεία αστυνομικών, κινήθηκε προς την πλευρά της θύρας 3 για να συνεννοηθεί με τους οπαδούς του ΟΦΗ ώστε να γυρίσουν πίσω το πανό που είχαν αφαιρέσει, κάτι όμως που δε συνέβη. Αντίθετα, ο κ. Ροκάκης αποδοκιμάστηκε.
Μάλιστα, η ένταση είχε και συνέχεια κατά την αναχώρηση οπαδών του ΟΦΗ από το γήπεδο Περιβολίων.Περίπου μισή ώρα μετά το τέλος του αγώνα και κατά την αναχώρηση των οπαδών του ΟΦΗ, λεωφορείο που τους μετέφερε σταμάτησε μπροστά από την είσοδο της θύρας 1(!), με αποτέλεσμα επίσης να δημιουργηθεί μία νέα εστία έντασης, αλλά αυτή τη φορά δυνάμεις των ΜΑΤ, ενήργησαν άμεσα και σε κάθε περίπτωση, οι οπαδοί του ΟΦΗ αποχώρησαν από τα Περβόλια, στους δε οπαδούς του ΑΟΧ/Κισσαμικού, τους έγιναν συστάσεις να ηρεμήσουν…
